DIN ABRASION TESTER
Specification:
This abrasion test machine is intended to assess the conduct of wear and tear of sole material of any kind. The wear and tear motion will be mechanically regulated according to the walking process on the test piece, after 1000 rolling motions. The abrasive coat to be used is a standardized emery paper grain 60, according to norm DIN 53 516.
The wear and tear is produced by a rolling motion, rolling off, with a constant slipping of 33%. In addition, the supporting tree of the test piece is turned off by 13° from the vertical position to the table motion direction, so that, in addition to the slipping of a roller motion, a turning movement is resulting. During the test running, the abrasive coat, is turned by about 1/1000 turns, at each stroke, by a gear of the machine, that means that after the test running the abrasive coat has made one circulation. The strain on the test piece, being a constant one, amounts to 80 N.
All moving parts requiring access are protected by a fully interlocked safety guard ensurig that the machine is conforms to the European latest safety regulations
